Toronto

Day 1- Up very early to take our cab to the airport. Our flight was great- we had the exit row seats so lots of room- but no food anymore on Air Canada. When we arrived Ceci was there to meet us. Our one piece of checked luggage ARRIVED!!!! Third piece off the belt!!!! But wait, if you think it was smooth sailing from there.....after a wild ride (for us quiet drivers in Victoria) on the 401-and another freeway, just as we took our exit the car died. I mean it was lucky we were coming to a red light and were in the right lane as Ceci just managed to guide the car to the side of the road. Lucky Gail has BCAA so our first stop in Toronto was at the PetroCan station where the car was towed. It was a fun adventure really because Graeme works for Petrocan and insists on pointing out every station we see everytime we come to visit. We were only delayed getting home about an hour.........great meal prepared by our lovely hostess with of course some help from Graeme. Ceci had to fly to Lima Friday night and won't be home till Sunday morning. Today we are going to Toronto Island - lovely weather - it should be fun.
